Participants
The course is open to architects, engineers, restorers, conservators, archaeologists and other scientists and professionals involved in monuments and historic buildings restoration.
Priority will be given to professionals with adequate working experience in the field of monuments restoration.
However, young scientists (PhD
 and post graduate students) are strongly encouraged to apply. 
The participants' selection will be made by the International Scientific Committee of the course.
Maximum number of participants: 25 


Duration
The duration of the course is 14 days, starting from Sunday 30 August until Friday 11 September 2020.
It includes 2 full weeks of participation, with 1 intermediate weekend with parallel activities.


Location
The course will take place at the archaeological site of Dion and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, GREECE.
All lectures and insitu practical training will take place in the archaeological site of Dion, on the foot of mount Olympus.

Certificate
A certificate of attendance by the Lifelong Learning Unit of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with 10 ECTS will be awarded to all participants who have attended at least 90% of all course activities.

Accommodation
Participants will be hosted in the ecclesiastic hostel of the Mitropolis of Kitrous, Katerini and Platamonos at Svoronos, near Katerini (15km far from Dion).

Fees and benefits
The fee is 1200€ (Euro), including:
- Participation in all theoritical and practical sessions of the course
- Certificate of attendance
- Printed and electronic educational material
- Round trip travels from Katerini to Dion and Thessaloniki for the insitu and practical sessions realized at Dion and
  AUTH

- Accomodation in the ecclesiastic hostel of the Mitropolis of   Kitrous, Katerini and Platamonos at Svoronos, Katerini 
  for 14 days
- Halfboard (breakfast and lunch)

- Transportation (in weekend) for trekking to Olympus mountain
- Reduced prices to local festivals
